NEW WAVERLY, Texas — New Waverly Bulldogs football is returning to SHN Sports for a fourth consecutive season, giving fans a chance to follow every game live throughout the 2026 campaign.
Walker County Federal Credit Union will serve as the presenting sponsor for SHN Sports’ coverage of the 2026 New Waverly football season.
Rob Hipp returns as the play-by-play voice of the Bulldogs. Ty Stutler is back as sideline reporter after being away from the broadcast last season. James Mahshi will serve as camera operator, and Nathan Hight returns as broadcast engineer.
Ray Hernandez will join Hipp as an analyst for the season opener Friday, Aug. 28, when New Waverly hosts the Tarkington Longhorns. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at New Waverly High School.
“I’m proud that SHN Sports gets to tell the story of New Waverly football for a fourth season,” Hipp said. “This is a community that cares deeply about its Bulldogs, and we’re excited to be back sharing every game with the fans. It’s great to have Ty back on the sideline, and I’m looking forward to having Ray alongside me in the booth Friday night. James and Nathan also do a tremendous job behind the scenes to make these broadcasts possible. We’re also grateful to Walker County Federal Credit Union for helping make this season of coverage possible.”
The SHN Sports crew will provide live coverage from every game throughout the season, including play-by-play and reports from the sideline.
